Grab something cold to drink, sit back, and prepare to be dazzled with every craft-related throught in my brain (plus some)
Let's start with some plus some. I don't know if I just had a good day, or what, but I started my Omega 3 regime today. I had to do a bunch of research on it. It was reccomended to me by other MS-er's for fatigue, and I'm all about the losing of the fatigue, trust me. I had to do some research of my own, mainly about the effects that it has on the immune system. I can't take echinacea, too much vitiman c, alfalfa, or any of the other crap that stimulates my immune system. My immune system is fine. I used to joke that it's so developed, it had been known to attack squirrels in the back yard. Then I found out what it was doing to my myelin. Oh well, it's still pretty funny. I hardly ever get sick. I start feeling sick, and then I get better. I consider it a perk of MS. Anyway, the Omega 3. It has actually been shown to be a mild immune supressant. No wonder that was so hard to find! For most people, it wouldn't be a selling point. For someone with a hyperactive home-wrecker immune system, it was great. So, it could have been just a good day, but it was a really good day. I felt better put together, not as sleepy, more concetrated. It's definitely worth the money I laid down. If that's what's doing it.
Ok, moving on (cuz I gots tha energy!) I picked up the premeir issue of Craft last night. It's a new sister publication of Make. This magazine rocks my socks right the hell off. I read it all day. Not like picking up Vogue Knits and flipping to each pattern, but I sat down and read this thing! Tutorials, patterns, fricking how to's, man! Want to make hard cider? Want a room divider that looks like an ant farm? Want to crochet a little robot? I think I'll be a subscriber next time I can afford a gift for myself. Which is after Grand Veiw. How long after Grand View will depend on how good I can be. How good I can be will depend on... well, if I drink enough, I won't be able to shop. Salvation through drunkeness.
I saw a button to Secret Pal 9 today with Stewie from Family Guy. It said "And no acrlyic! God help you if I find any acrlyic!" I wanted to join. After being away from SP for two or three cycles I was ready to join because of that little button. But sign ups had closed. Better for me, really. Got to be good. Have to decrease my Fuck Off list. But 10. I'll sign up for SP 10. That'll be after Christmas, and after I have the big items off of my FO list (ha! I'm doing it backwards!)
zOMG, ponies! Craft has a blog! A wonderful blog of goodness!
After I get the final draft turned in, I'll post my essay on the rebel side of Martha Stewart. Face it guys, Martha is just keepin' it real.
I'm going to go suffer through more sock. The distraction of last night's knitting group was nice. I had the leg done, the heel knitted and turned, and the stitches picked up for the gusset, and I didn't feel a thing! Anyway, whatever I do, I've got stuff that needs doing. Ta!

I am so glad you are feeling better on this regime! Hooray! You definately have lots of ...ummm...pep. Wish I had seen the live version at Knitting last night. You'll have to let me know when Secret Pal 10 is underway -- I think I'd like to get in on it -- never done one. Can't wait to read the Martha essay! ~h
ps -- which sock is causing you such harm??

OH I'd love to do a secret pal program again. I used to do them on stamping and beading forums, but never a knitting one :) That would be cool!
