Shh!! Look! It's a wild blog post, grazing in it's natural environment. Gawgess, innit it? Look at that bag it's dragging around. That bag looks like it's holding close to a month's worth of pictures, stories, and shared times! A whole bloody month! Usually we don't see a blog post hoard like this, but some times we see exceptions. Oh! Shhhhshshshsh. We almost startled it. Let's just hunker down here a little bit and watch this beauty litter that stuff around a bit.
OK, last post was April 26. Not a month yet. It could be worse. I've had internet for a good time now, but sitting down and actually building a post was a bit daunting. And I keep adding more stuff to blog about. Damn me and this horrible addiction to living an interesting life.
So we're moved in, but not completely unpacked. I don't know when that end will show up. It's just so overwhelming, like this huge, real life, game of tetris. Everything only fits a certain way. And to make matters just a little more annoying, my sister moved in with us. She's got all her shit too.
But I love this place, and I really like living here. It's a three bedroom townhouse in a pretty decent neighborhood. Lot's of room, bigger kitchen (great for soap) two and a half baths (the bladder sighs in relief) a front door that actually puts you outside. No neighbors above or below, a back patio for a grill. If only someone would tell me to buy this place! But no, this place will be a rental forever.
We moved on the 27th and the first thing that moved in with us was
Go ahead, act surprised. You suck at acting.
After that it was everything else. Boxes and couches and cats. Things are slowly getting shuffled in, but a full time job doesn't speed things up. It does, sometimes, provide a welcome break.
So now I have to decide how I'm going to catch up, blogwise. I think last weekend's sheep and wool will get it's own post. I've already bitched about moving. The rest is all window dressing. Stuff I've spun, things I've knit. I can't blog my primary knitting project for a bit more, though. Yeah, one of those things.
Got a wedding to go to this weekend. She was good enough to pick the one weekend in a month an a half without a fiber event. I'm sure that wasn't planned, but I appreciate it all the same. I could be sitting on the third base line of tomorrow's red sox game though. I'm sure no one would understand. My cousin Matthew would understand, but I'd probably be blacklisted by the rest of my family. My wedding is next. And I might blog about my meager planning too. I've got my favors, looking at invitations.
The weekend after this one is the Mass Sheep and Wool, but I really made a royal killing at the NH Sheep and Wool, and I don't need anything else. So I'm going to a potluck with my knitting group. I'll make my first cheese cake in this kitchen. After how great it was for the soap I made on Monday, I don't expect it to disappoint. The following Wednesday I go see Ms. Harlot, and then I go up north to see Spunky. And the weekend after that I want to go to the Maine Fiber Frolic. We'll see how that goes.
Yeah, this post sucks, but it's just me ripping the bandaid off all at once. I'll post something more stately after this weekend away. If I had a Louet Victoria I could take it with me...
It's snowing in Aroostook county right now.

welcome back to blogland. :)

That is not at all surprising for a first-moved picture. I posted something rather similar about a year ago...

Welcome home to blogland and congrats on the new digs! :) You'll have to let me know which new townhouse community you picked (Windsor?)... I'm updating my company's competition report as we speak. LOL
Love that the wheel was the first thing in!
Btw, I still have YH on Knitty Gritty for you if you still need it...

I'm shocked, SHOCKED that you would move the spinning wheel in first!
Yeah, I didn't believe me either ;)
Congrats on the new place, it sounds nice!

Of course your wheel had to come first thing. Great luck to you, moving in.

Glad to have you back! We would have thought something wrong if the wheel didn't go first.
