Today I was met with a very unsavory, nearly threatening, correspondence. Read on. I share it with you.
To Ericka,
This is a ransom note. I have
your 2 skeins of Socks That Rock yarns hostage. "Puck's Mischief" is
barely putting up a fight, despite his cocky name and "Tide Pool" is
just sitting there, making a puddle of itself. They are *this* close
to being unskeined and hung up on my swift. Don't cross me, I'll do
it! I demand your presence at Yarn & Fiber Co. on Friday night ,
7 pm on-the-dot....at the front door...(or side door if the front is
locked). Or.....your yarn gets it! (or, really, *I* get it!)

But seeing as Chuck Norris stopped returning my calls (Chuck, really, I miss you. I promise I'll cast on the Poster Boy Bag that I charted your picture for, someday) I have no one to put on a ski mask and crash through her dining room window.
So I do the only thing I can do. I warn others.

Bribery. That will work. Or get her sloshed and just retrieve your yarn. Just don't get caught. You might have to share a cell with O.J.
