Yes, I have been remiss with my posting. Life is busy, you know. I don't have to tell anybody here that. Except you moms who are suddenly standing in a quiet house, wondering at the joy of September ;)
Got the Honeymoon planned. And the winner is... Disney World! Yay! I got the book "Walt Disney World Resort Without Kids" and we're having a lot of fun planning. Too much fun, in fact. I need to get back to the silly little wedding details.
Knitting life has been good. I've been knitting for the sake of knitting lately, and I haven't really been in love with much, until Heather gave me her new pattern, which I am loving very much. I'm test knitting, she'll have it available shortly, I'm sure. I'll hurry so that it's sooner rather than later. And she gave me some bamboo to knit it in, and I've got to tell you, I really like this yarn. It's soft, it's glossy, but not tencel or nylon glossy, it melts off of the needles. When I get the ok from her, I'll post pictures.
And that's it for me. I'm going to submerge again. Right now I'm putting together a list of songs to play at the wedding. My cousin is taking care of the DJing set up, and he found a classmate to MC. He's given me an empty hard drive, I just have to fill it.
What would you put on it? Not just first dance and father/bride dance, but for the whole wedding? I'm really looking forward to what everyone has to say. Your ideas fuel me ;)

Want our play list from the 5 hours of wedding reception music we burned from Itunes? It's a little eclectic and strange....

"Another One Bites The Dust" :) Just teasing!! But it is cute to play when you toss the bouquet!
Good first dance song "At Last" by Etta James or "Just the Way you Are" By Billy Joel
Groom/Mother dance "Have I told you Lately that I love you" Rod Stewart.
And I like to tango to "Mambo #5" by Lou Bega...ok ok it just puts me in the mood to boogie!! LOL
OK I didn't think of all these alone! I had help from here http://www.freedjamerica.com/Top_Wedding_and_Party_Songs.html

oh, baby - I have my song list around somewhere - I will dig it up. But I loved our first song - not first dance, but first song played after the ceremony - it's called Let the Day Begin - and it's by the Call. Here is a link to the lyrics - it kicks ass. I know you have heard it.
