...and counting.
One month.
30 days.
We breathe.
The dress is set. I'll drop it off in two weeks to have it steamed and cleaned.
The caterer is set, we just have to decide on the entrees.
We breathe.
The DJ is set thanks to my cousin Matt and fellow college kids.
The music is finding its way onto the hard drive he gave me, thanks to all of my friends.
All of the bridesmaids have their dresses.
The groomsmen have been fitted for their tuxes.
We breathe.
The rings have been selected and will be paid for tomorrow.
I need to get a tie for Kadin.
I have something old (speaking relatively) and new, and blue. Borrowed is still being sought.
We breathe.
The minister has been contacted and is a wonderful soul.
The rooms that we each will have the night before and the room we will share the night of the wedding are booked.
The honeymoon is planned and paid for (ah yes, after this? I'm going to Disney World!)
We breathe.
We have punch bowls instead of an open bar... and a keg or two.
The center pieces are just waiting for final assembally.
The RSVPs are coming in
The hall and the church are ready to go.
The maples will be turning soon, so I can make my flowers.
We breathe.
The money situation is fixed. There is nothing more to worry about in that respect.
We pass out from the amount of oxygen our brain has been given by all of this deep breathing.
So yes, all is well in bridal land.
In the rest of my world I just made my first batch of soap in a while, a nice chai tea soap that just feels perfect in the cool air. I had really forgotten how gratifying that is. Tomorrow, unless the mood changes, I will pour some pumpkin spice soap.
And its baking time again! Oh yes, I know that summer will keep railing back, like it does, but Autumn has made her presence known. She is subtle and sly, and she always wins over summer. And then she grows bored and lets winter in. Autumn is truly my favorite part of the year.
I spent all day having everything racing through my head, but it's oddly quiet now. I feel quite peaceful and I believe it's time for bed. :)

*SQUEE!*
One month to go already?! Oooh, how exciting! Are you bouncing off the walls yet?
We must see pictures of the joyous event!

YEA... so glad to hear all the details are being sorted out and taken care of. It must feel great.
Those roses are absolutely amazing! I've never seen anything like them and being a huge fall lover, I just might have to *try* (try being key word - I may not succeed) some!

I love love love your choice for your flowers! absolutely gorgeous -- perfect. And I am so happy the money issues were resolved and you can rest a bit easier on that front. As for the soap, can't wait to smell it and I also can't wait to show you the kits! They are coming out great!

Don't worry...everything will turn out just right for the wedding. It's only the BEFORE that is so hard and stressful. Once you look into Chris' eyes and the minister says, "You are now husband and wife." if will all be worth the aggravation.
And, I agree....I love autumn. My absolute favorite season!
